Angel Flight arranges free air transportation for people that have a medical need that can't be filled in their local area. Angel Flight serves primarily patients who are traveling from, to or through the states of Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. Our organization believes that the cost of travel should never stand in the way of receiving medical care.

H. A .L. T. E. R. (Handicapped Athletes Learning To Enjoy Riding)

H. A .L. T. E. R. is an affordable Therapeutic Horseback Riding program which has served handicapped residents of Spartanburg (and surrounding counties) and students at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind since 1987.


Palmetto Power Soccer Foundation
The goal of the Palmetto Power Soccer Foundation is to support physically disabled South Carolinians who wish to participate in the adaptive sport of power soccer; to create an opportunity for motorized wheelchair users to participate in organized athletic competition and enjoy the camaraderie of team sport; to foster the growth of adaptive sport within the state and maintain an active presence in the disability community.Team practices are held in Columbia on the first Saturday of each month. Practices start at 10:30 a.m. at the Harbison Rec Center.Anyone interested in the sport is encouraged to come to a practice and give it a try.

P&A promotes this mission by enabling individuals to advocate for themselves, by speaking on their behalf when they have been discriminated against or denied a service to which they are entitled, and by promoting policies and services which respect their choices.
