3.1. Centers for Independent Living
Centers for Independent Living are local offices where you can locate information and referral for persons living with disabilities. They provide information and services to maximize the independence of individuals with disabilities and the accessibility of the communities in which they live. Examples of services include ramping programs, listings of accessible housing and in some cases home modification assistance or case management. They're also an excellent resource for learning about personal assistance services (PAS) in your location.
